Common questions
Do I need a referral for sports physiotherapy?
No referral is needed. You can book directly online or by calling either our Wangaratta or Benalla clinic. A GP referral may make you eligible for Medicare rebates, but it's not required to book.
How soon can I return to sport after an injury?
Return-to-sport timelines depend on the nature and severity of your injury. Your physiotherapist will give you an honest prognosis at your first assessment and work toward clear, objective milestones — so you know exactly where you stand and when you're genuinely ready.
Do you work with junior athletes?
Yes. We have significant experience with junior and adolescent athletes. Treatment and load management is adapted to their stage of physical development and the specific demands of their sport.
Can physiotherapy help prevent injuries before they happen?
Absolutely. We offer movement screening, load monitoring advice, and tailored strength programs designed to reduce injury risk before problems develop — particularly valuable pre-season or when ramping up training load.
Ready to move better?
Whether you're dealing with a new injury, persistent pain, or want to return to sport — we're here to guide you every step of the way.
