Todd Bird
APA Sports and Exercise Physiotherapist
Director of Peak Sports Physiotherapy
Todd is a Sports Physiotherapist with over 10 years’ experience working in private practice in regional Victoria. Over his career, Todd has been fortunate to work with athletes from various backgrounds including professional cyclists, triathletes and distance runners. Todd is currently the physio for the Murray Bushrangers Football club.
Todd has strong interests in treating sports and musculoskeletal injuries, particularly regarding the lower limb such as knee and hip pain and running-related injuries. Outside of work, He enjoys running, music and trying to get a kick in the local footy.

Josh Rankin
Josh is originally from a regional cattle farming community in Northern NSW. He enjoyed an active upbringing and eventually pursued a Bachelor degree in Sport and Exercise Science. In 2014 he relocated to Brisbane to commence post-graduate studies at the University of Queensland, obtaining a Masters degree in Physiotherapy. Here he met a Benalla local who later became his wife.
Josh lived and worked on beautiful Bribie Island for two and a half years before taking off around the world on the trip of a lifetime! Upon his return, Josh spent 12 months in the Northern Territory, before coming to Benalla in early 2021. Josh takes a friendly yet professional approach to physiotherapy care, with a particular interest in sports injury and post-operative rehabilitation.
You’ll likely see Josh running laps around Lake Benalla, volunteering at Parkrun, or frequenting Benalla’s playgrounds with his young daughter. Josh is keen to get involved in the many community events on offer here in the North East, and can’t wait to meet you!

Caleb Pannell
Caleb graduated from the University of South Australia with a Bachelor of Physiotherapy in 2015.
Since then, he has had the opportunities to work all over Australia and gain high-quality experience in both public hospital and private practice settings. Due to this Caleb is well-equipped to guide you through your entire rehabilitation program from early injury diagnosis, all the way to achieving your goals and full-recovery.
Caleb takes a holistic approach to rehabilitation and incorporates the latest evidence-based
techniques in his treatment to focus on all of the contributing factors to your pain and dysfunction.
He has a strong belief in educating and empowering clients about their injury, as well as the
importance of strength and conditioning for everybody’s recovery.
Caleb has a special interest in musculoskeletal injuries including lower limb soft tissue injuries,
pre/post-operative rehabilitation, post-fracture management, lumbar/spinal pain and chronic pain management.
When he is not working as a physio, you will find Caleb exploring the region as much as possible and keeping very active through hiking, basketball, AFL and surfing/snowboarding. He also can’t say no to a great market and live music!

Milly Mathewson
A Wangaratta local, Milly was born and raised in our town before moving to Albury to study a Bachelor of Physiotherapy at Charles Sturt University. After graduating in 2022, she began working in the private sector in the nearby town of Yarrawonga, where she gained experience with a wide variety of clientele.
Having played netball her whole life, Milly has extensive experience with musculoskeletal injuries. She also holds a strong interest in chronic pain, disability (NDIS), aged care, and paediatric clients. Milly values an evidence-based, holistic approach to care and strives to empower patients with greater knowledge and understanding, helping them achieve their goals. Her passion for connecting with people from all walks of life fuels her ability to create specific, patient-led treatment and rehabilitation plans. Most of all, Milly is very competitive, so you can rest assured she won’t stop until progress is made.
Outside of work, you’ll likely find Milly running around with her beloved border collie, Isla, or enjoying the food and wine our region has to offer.
